So far Barclays hasn't come knocking on my door, but who knows it could happen. lol

You'd think they would have been spooked from the very beginning. I apped for 16 other cards before hitting them up in a 4 month period.

I also have balances that report on 5 or more cards in a given month. I don't worry about paying before they report. I just pif 99% of the time.

There seems to be no rhyme or reason to the CLR in some cases. If they ever come knocking , I'll close the card and move on..not a big deal.

In your case OP I'd probably keep the card... Just SD it .

OP don't close the card! Just like u I was recently CLD from $5k to $300 on one of my accounts but due to inactivity. So I definitely know what it feels like. At first I was SO PISSED that all I wanted to do was close out the account, but on reevaluation I decided against it. Good thing is, this isn't permanent so with responsible usage going forward ur limit will likely be restored. This is how I'm dealing with my situation. All the best!
