I waaaaant a Citi Upromise!!

On another website, people are saying that a letter is going out to Upromise customers saying that BofA is going to issue the Upromise MasterCard now instead of Citi.

Here's a quote:

"The letter says that the program is ending March 2009, but then goes on to say that your have 2 options. Option 1 is to use your card between 11/1-11/30/08, call, or return the bottom little form by 11/30/08. Option 1 gets you the BofA card. Option 2 is to not use your card after 10/31/08 or call Citi before 11/30/08 and tell them you want a replacement Citi card. Option 2 keeps you with Citi.

I don't know if they will pull a new report if you go with BofA. The letter I got did not state if you have to qualify or not."

Here's a follow-up post that that person made:

"I decided to stick with Citi. Just made the phone call. It's all automated. I'll probably just eventually combine it with one of my other Citi cards."

I have a Upromise Citicard. I have not receive that letter yet. All i get on a monthly is just the statement nothing else. Guess i have to look out for this one.

What scores did you have when you got it (if you remember)?  Did you have any serious derogs?

It might have been close to 600 really not sure. I had some paid collections and my slow payments with my sallie mae. At the time I only had my 2 capital ones with 500 limits.
