The slide from grace is really more like gliding
And I've found the trick is not to stop the sliding
But to find a graceful way of staying slid

For all of you who doubt Mr Ramsey (excuse me that's his dad's name)...Dave, here's a clip to prove to you that PIF'ing on rewards cards is not a smart way to make money from the credit card companies while your money collects interest somewhere; and the rewards points thing is stupid too. As Dave says: "Correctly using credit cards is an oxymoron."

1. The money you make is inconsequential.
2. You think you are slick because you can play with snakes (credit card companies). Well, you'll just get bit.
3. You're gonna mess up eventually.
4. The millionaires that Dave knows don't do it.
5. Only broke nerds try do this sort of thing.

I'm not even sure I should dignify it with a response, but here goes:
1. My money is not inconsequential to me. Any amount of it. But I don't use cards to make money, so...
2. Ah, we've arrived at the folksy wisdom segment of this evening's show. When is Dr. Phil coming on?
3. Pessimist.
4. Dave knows a lot of millionaires, does he?
5. That's just insulting. And do what sort of thing?

Also,  PIF'ing on rewards cards is not a smart way to make money from the credit card companies while your money collects interest somewhere

Um, what?

No, but I did see Jimmy Swaggert and Tammy Faye (Bakker) Messner cry in public.

I have never seen Flava Flav cry in public though...

Just watch the video. Obviously, if you have been paying attention, I don't value Dave's advice. But there it is.

Oh, darn. Well, it's late. That's my excuse.

I can't get the video to play, but that's probably good, since he gives me a headacheSmiley Happy
