I want to beat myself in the head. (Updated)

[ Edited ]

Despite all the advice on myfico.com, I went ahead and app for Barclay Ring.

Instant approval.

But TOY LIMIT. (my LOWEST CL EVER)

I will recon tomorrow at 7 CST.

I will know what they pulled tomorrow with creditsecure from Amex unlimited pull for all 3 CRAs.

Anyway, if they pulled TU, it's 9 inqs 2 in last 9 months. The rest is from cars and will fall off the end of year.

Any advice on recon?

UPDATED: Using the same HP (they pulled TU, in TX), they were able to bump the credit to 2k (too many 3 new accounts in 6 months and 9 inqs on TU)

To the future me: listen to myfico.com advice! To avoid toy limit/low CL.

Re: I want to beat myself in the head.

Most likely they will need to do another HP. My gf had to recon her original CL and they did a new inquiry. She got a higher limit though so in a way it was worthwhile since she doesn't have any inquiries on TU.

Just be prepared to answer questions regarding your CR

Hopefully they will use same HP, I think webhopper's DH got CLI thru recon with same HP if I read correctly.

Thanks.

I forgot to add that my total util is at 1% reporting on one card. The one card that is reporting has 8% reporting of total limit.
