lets say i dont use havy my Citi credit card will lender reduce the limit on the card, considering that i dont carry a balance and i pay before the statement cuts
Thanks for any inputs
Ah, I'd imagine this would depend on what's happening on your utility with other cards, inquiries, new accounts, and other factors such as overall debt and recent negatives/derogs.
But, I've yet to see where a CL was lowered just because a person didn't use the card. Now, I have seen people call for recon, then have CLs lowered after the process of manual review.

No, theres no AA for this, unless you call them and say, "Hey, my CL is so high! This is awesome for my utili, since I will never use this card again!"
As always Open you got some really wise advise. You seem to be well educated on the credit area
Thank you
It's not always a good idea to continously show a -0- balance on your credit cards.
I would suggest that you at least allow one card to report a balance, pay off prior to due date and rotate the other cards
in a similar manner.
Thats what i was gonna do and it makes perfect sense. That way the lenders are still see activity. Great advice thanks

I subscribe to this adage too.
I sense some lenders now don't like the "paying before your balance reports" thing.
