I would carry my Amex Blue Cash Preferred...I love it so much, I'm willing to not do business with merchants that won't accept it!

Yeah, I'm coming around to this way of thinking too.  Where I am, every place where I frequent not only accepts AmEx, but doesn't even require any kind of minimum spending.

The only places that don't take AmEx is a burger I like, but it's so cheap I can easily just pay cash.  Now, going abroad is a different issue, where MC is King.

Probably the BCP.  I would've considered the Freedom if they didn't decline my transactions yesterday.  Citi would be my second choice - cash rewards, accepted everywhere, larger limit, 0% right now.

Re: If you could only carry 1 card which would it be?

My CSP definitely. No forex fees, the ability to transfer points to both hotels and airlines, excellent customer service and the fact that it's a visa are all critical to me.

My CO PP would be a moderately-distant second.
