Impact of New Car Loan on Borderline Amex Ap?

I bought a new car last month. The new TL just showed up on my CR and there are 4 associated inq's.

I'm sure the answer is "it depends" or "YMMV" but - how will the new car loan impact my chances of approval with Amex given that I was a borderline applicant before? I am a current Amex PRG holder for 3 months now and have spent a fair amount on it since then ($3K-$5K per month).

My current EX score is ~680-690 (prior to new car TL)

AAOA ~ 5.5 years, Oldest account = 10.9 years.

Clean for the last 2.25 years but I have a few baddies:

2 year old lates on student loans

     3.5 year old collection ($180)

     6.5 year old CO

6.5 year old 120 day late for student loan

You take a short-term hit in terms of hard pulls, new TL, and lowered AAoA.

Your revolving utilization should not be affected.

Your DTI may be affected.

You might squeak by, but maybe not.

If you already have an Amex and are declined for another, I believe it's a SP.

Yeah. It's definitely a SP. I've been declined for the Am...

Yeah. It's definitely a SP. I've been declined for the Amex Delta Plat 2 months in a row - although last month I screwed it up because there was a $5K balance on my PRG when I apped. The statement hadn't cut yet so there was $0 due and I didnt' think about it.
