In the mean time..

Done applying for now. UTL is just too high and dragging my scores down.

About a month from now my UTL should be under 40% or less.

BUT. I have a high amount of INQ's.

Which cards are more forgiving of INQ's?

Farm and Fleet $3,000 (AU) Paypal Extras MC $1,500
Barclay's Apple Visa $1,200 QVC Qcard $800
Amazon Store Card $600 Discover $500
Walmart MC $400 Victoria's Secret $350
Credit One $300 Fingerhut $200

You need to tell yourself NONE for at least 6 months... It's just that simple!

I don't really have any prime cards. I'm going on a trip in June and need one with a $500+ limit so I can get rewards.

As previously addressed on your other threads and based on your current profile that scenario is extremely unlikely.

Re: In the mean time..

If I pay my balances down there might be a chance. Someone posted once about lenders who are not picky with INQ's.

Then I am not sure why you are still asking.  If you KNOW that lender will approve you in a month, then looks like you are all set.

I don't know the answer, just saying someone posted about it, but can't find it.

I just don't think your going to get it... add another $200 to your Wells... You just won't stop applying for anything and everything which is going to keep you from getting anything prime... when scores are already borderline and credit limits are already tiny, if you can't keep util. under 10% and you can't stop from applying for 10 different things the banks are not going to touch you with a 10 foot pole... why give someone $500 or $1000 when they can't even pay $300... I'm sorry to sound negative but "paying" is not 3x minimum in this case, it needs to be 100% of balance and really since you know the game here fico and reporting, you need to pay down before it cuts or not use it all month so it updates to credit reports below 9% util.

there is a big difference between someone with strong profile and tons of inq's and someone with a WEAK profile and lots of INQ's.

I know it's hard to see others with a 605 or something that get approved for a $2k card with such and such bank and you go running to apply because you are like "hey, that's just like me" but if you won't consider what everyone is telling you, you have to consider your very own results and then you don't have to believe what anyone says if you don't want to.

How many INQ's do you have? and how many accounts did you get approved for?

it's that simple... paying your util. down to 40% is not going to get you there when you have these kind of credit lines and these kind of cards.
