Inactive Walmart Credit Card

i applied for the walmart card just for the free fico score, i live in NYC where there aren't any walmarts... my question is, how long can i NOT use the card and it remain active?


Starting Score: 575 (As Of Early 2011)
Current Score: TU: 767 EQ: 732 EX; 742 (As Of Feb 2012)
Goal Score: 750

You can shop online and use it.

Current: EQ Fico (700), EX Fico AMX (681) TU Fico Walmart (711) MyFico TU (708) Vantage: TU 803, EX 777, EQ 789
Goal: 700+ across the board.

If the sole reason you applied for the card was the FICO score, don't worry about it being closed due to inactivity.  You can still log on with a closed walmart card account and access your FICO score.  I closed mine back in 2009 and just this past year found out I was still able to log on to my online account and could access the FICO score. 

 

If you really want to keep the card open charge something small every third month or so.

This logic always baffled me that a closed card still provides you with a FICO. But hey the consumer wins on this one Smiley Happy

that must be an error >_< lol. i was shopping on walmart for something sub $10 that i actually NEED but i can't find anything. guess ill have to buy something i dont need lol

 

another question, if it's still open and i havent used it in the 6 months... would they even consider a CLI?
