I have about 17-18 inquiries on my TU report and about 8 are due to fall off on or before 9-30. I understand that 10 is still is a lot and that they no longer affect my score after 1 year, but will lenders look at my report any differently than if they were to see it say, today? All of the inquiries were desperate attempts at getting a private loan for school a couple of years ago and I CANNOT wait until they are gone.
From my experiences with the MAJOR lender so far, the INQs do not matter at all. Assuming that you have stellar credit and little to no baddies.
I was approved with Amex BCE with 13 inqs
I was approved with CSP with 14 inqs
I was approved with BoA with 15 inqs
Just like you, half of my INQs are falling off in August-October.
