Inqs falling off soon

I have about 17-18 inquiries on my TU report and about 8 are due to fall off on or before 9-30. I understand that 10 is still is a lot and that they no longer affect my score after 1 year, but will lenders look at my report any differently than if they were to see it say, today? All of the inquiries were desperate attempts at getting a private loan for school a couple of years ago and I CANNOT wait until they are gone.

From my experiences with the MAJOR lender so far, the INQs do not matter at all. Assuming that you have stellar credit and little to no baddies.

I was approved with Amex BCE with 13 inqs

I was approved with CSP with 14 inqs

I was approved with BoA with 15 inqs

Just like you, half of my INQs are falling off in August-October.

2013 Approvals: Discover IT - 3/1, Amex BCE - 3/4, CSP - 5/4, Barclay Ring - 6/12, BoA Privileges Cash - 6/27, Citi TY Preferred - 8/6, OCCU Duck - 11/4, USBank (Cash+) - 11/22, Wells Fargo - 12/21, Nordstrom - 12/29

12/19/2013, $100k+ Available Credit. Total Util: 0-1%

Re: Inqs falling off soon

Well i ask because I was denied discover it (student version) twice and the reasons were inquiries in the past 24 months and the past 6 months. So if I were to reapply at the end of year, and me only having two inquiries in the past 6 months and with 8 due to fall off by then, do you guys think I'd have a chance, granted I get a handle on my utilization?
