I know IM not ready to apply with anyone in the near future until I lower my debt. But.....
Today I called to see if my father had any accounts with USAA or NFCU and ( he didn't.)
The lady from NFCU said I still qualify because my dad served in the Navy.
USAA said I still qualify for most products. Is this what you guys have been told also?
Would NFCU give me the same rates even if my dad didn't have an account with them?
What do you like about NFCU?

As i understand USAA's policies, and they have changed dramatically recently, if a parent/spouse is/was active or retired military you are eligible for full membership, if the service member was honorably discharged you are eligible for partial membership.
