While I chime in, I will bump a question already asked in this thread:
We know INQs dont factor into your "score" after year 1, but between year 1~2 until they fall off completely, [does it] / [can it] / [will it] affect new credit decisions from lenders, given that they are privvy to the information if a report is pulled?

all of them made in late 2012 and this year. Question is though they don't affect after a year they will show up in report for 2 years and continue affecting for new applications not getting approved ?
Hi Sghosh5-
Inquires stay on your credit reports for 2 years. In FICO scoring you get ding for inquires made in the last 12 months. As time pass...3 months... 6 months... you gain back points slowly. You gain back full points lost in 12 months after each initial inquiry.
For example:
Today I applied for an Amex card 7/26/13 (shhhh, I really did & I got approved!). This inquiry will show on my credit report for 24 months. But in exact one year 8/27/13. I will no longer be penalized for this inquiry although it will continue to report for another year (8/27/14).
Thanks OptimalCS. I knew that fact. My question was though it does not affect scores any more after a year, between year 1 & 2 it will still remain on report and will the creditors still deny say too many inquiries ?
right now the biggest reason of me getting denied is too many inqs. 90 percent of which i did when i got rid of lots delinquencies and collections and wanted to fill my credit report with new and various accounts. I am definitely in garden till late 2014
My last app was in 07/16/2013. So my report should be clean by 08/2015.

Some lenders will some won't...example Chase and Barclay and Citi are INQ sensitive

OP, Long live us kings! (in sig)
Well I have EQ = 6, TU - 6, Ex - 7. I have been triple pulled by CapOne, Amex, Discover, Chase and Citi. This was due to my thin credit file.
