Hey Mordaane,
What is a good daily puller to use to reduce inquiries? I live in California. I have Score Watch with Equifax right now. Not sure what will help to reduce inqs on Equifax and Experian. TU only has one so I am not worried much there.
Thanks,
BJ

What does that even mean?
There's a reason that this isn't discussed much here. Advocating changing your credit report in this manner is against Terms of Service and User Guidelines. As these forums are sponsored by a corporation (FICO), rather than run by individuals, they must comply with legal guidelines, including not appearing to be a credit-repair service. We can discuss such matters as whether an account is legally allowed to report, or GW and PFD, and so forth, but not this.
Basically, it's exploiting a flaw in the CRA software in terms of how much info it can hold.
And it can very easily cause your file to split, especially at uber-fragile Equifax, so I wouldn't advise getting addicted to it.
Well, in that case.
Nevermind.
How long do inquires stays in our reports?
I mean, i know they stay up to 2 years, but when do they stop " mattering " to lenders/damaging our scores...?
No guesses please, acurate info only pleaase.
Thanks guys.

It's a YMMV based on lender. Some CCCs care if you have inquiries inside 3 months, for example, and yet others don't. Some look up to 6 months. Some a year. I think the consensus is that anything older than a year doesn't matter. Scoring is of course different since lenders use different scores or formulas to assess risk. FICO ignores them beyond 1 year. FAKOs, like the PLUS score, factor them in for 2 yrs. YMMV.

Exactly.
Each lender is different. Often when they decline someone they will state something like "Too many INQs in the past X months."
