Interest question

Hello all,

I recently opened a Merrick Bank card and have a set-up fee and annual fee. My first payment is due soon. I wanted to know if companies charge interest on these fees or just your actual transactions. I was trying to decide if I should pay the full amount or just for my transactions. Thanks.

They will charge interest on your balance as a whole.  If you can I would PIF
