Introducing myself and app spree results

Alright, so I've decided to join this forum to live vicariously through all of you.  I've been lurking in the shadows since late 2011 and have increased my scores all from <600 to 730+.

I'm 22 years old and only recently got into the credit game.

My spree:

AMEX BCP - 5500 (4 July)

USAA AMEX - 10000 (6 July)

CSP - 5000 (24 July)

Home Depot - 1250 (???) (26 July)

NFCU Flagship - 17000 (26 July)

I'm done for now, aside from the BCP 61 day 3xCLI.  My only complaint would be the HD limit.  When could I expect an increase, or should I work on getting one now - would it be another HP or a SP?

You've all been a huge help already without even knowing it!

AMEX BCP (5.5K) - USAA AMEX (10K) - USAA PLAT STUDENT (1K) - NFCU FLAGSHIP VISA (17K) - CSP (5K) - HD (8250) - CAP1 (1250) - PP (1.5K) - USBANK (600)

Re: Introducing myself and app spree results

Welcome to the forum and congrats you did a very nice job

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Re: Introducing myself and app spree results

Thanks to the both of you!

I called HD and got a CLI to 8250 (I requested 7500).  The rep on the phone informed me that is was a HP though Smiley Sad

Now it's time to head off to the garden and watch these puppies grow.

This instantly reminded me of the The Wire (oh, how I miss that show!) and for some reason, put a smile on my face.

Home Depot is a Citi Card and from what I've read and experienced, they almost always do HP's for CLI.  If you request the CLI through their website, it will say something like "you authorize Citibank to obtain your credit report".

Congrats!
