When I app'd for CSR, I got a 35K initial approval after speaking with fraud department. (Credit Alert on file for identity theft issues.)
I told them I'll use the card as my main and need it to be higher. I average about $6-7K a month on hotels alone for work. Pushed me to underwriting. Reviewed file. Waited about 5 mins on the phone and $55K. Left happy.
FAKO says I'm 635 on Experian but that's mainly because of BT offers and just did a new mortgage. The letter sent with approval had me at 786 on their credit pull.
