Well that kinda answered my question.  I want that 1-2-3 card, but I burned BOA, then MBNA way back when and only paid off circa 08.  I was hoping to get back in one day, but I'll watch your result to see if I should waste my time...

Same story. Got two MBNA closed (at consumers request to get a 2% APR versus 29 if i kept it open). Paid both in full and ahead of time.

Since then so far been denied twice since 2009

Mine did not - only high limit - but - that was the 1-2-3 card... There "might" be a difference in reporting, but I kind of doubt it...
