JustMe77....how long did it take for your card to come? It seems forever! LOL! I got an email that the card was mailed, but not here yet. I think I'm just super excited!! LOLFWIW, I was able to get my new card overnighted to me a few days after approval by calling customer service. (ETA: They did this by overnighting a "replacement" card, so I ended up receiving 2 cards.)
Also, to answer your original question, most Chase Freedom cards are Visa. If it's a Visa, the fine print will mention that you will first be considered for the Visa Signature card before the regular version. If you applied online, a popup window appears when hovering your pointer near the address bar in your internet browser, which shows a picture of a card with either a MasterCard or Visa logo.

Great tip, I should try that. I mean the CCC and I are on agreement that the sooner I use the card the better ![]()

I applied on Dec. 23rd, and received the card on Jan 4th. It's my favorite card, even already

Mines a Visa. I think most are Visa's.

Visa here. They did ask if I had a prefference though.

Has anyone else had success switching from Visa to Mastercard with no HP after 90 days? There are absolutely no Mastercards out there that I want to get, and I wouldn't mind having one.

Is it possible to have both a Freedom Mastercard and a Freedom VISA? I'm just the opposite and am trying to avoid CapitalOne. I need to add a Mastercard to my portfolio and figure the Freedom card is as decent of a card as any to add. I don't want to convert my existing Freedom VISA though.

So I currently have the Chase Sapphire Preferred which is a Visa Signature, would it be wise to get the Freedom in Master Card version or does it not matter? Most of my cards are Visa, would getting a mix be worth worrying about?
