The recent increase in minimum spending to get the bonus and a greater number of approvals lately make me think that Chase is going to axed the benefits of CSP soon. And it has been 5 years since the debut of this card, so I assume Chase will launch another prime product to get more market shares.
What do you guys think?
Gosh, I hope not,,,I just got approved this morning!

Well it's just my guess. And I got approved last week, too.
By the way congrats on your new CSP
The benefits changed a while ago. For example, the 7% dividend was removed.

I doubt they will nerf it badly. They may introduce a new product, but the CSP has been very succesful and I don't think they want to mess with it too much. Increasing minimum spend is just a way of discouraging churning. If the bonus was severely reduced, I would be more worried. They may actually add benefits and compeletly overhaul the product. They don't need to introduce a new product to get attention, and it's less costly to them to keep customers in the same card, not earning new card bonuses. For example, the Chase Freedom has been around for a long time, with its benefits changed, yes, but not severely nerfed or discontinued.
I think it's been nerfed enough lately, what with the dividend and all. Plus, they just recently upped the required spend to $4k from $3k.
A few months back, they seemed to be toying with the idea of raising the AF to like $150 I think, but it looks like they turned away from that (for now).
So if we do see any adverse action against the CSP, I think it'd be an increased AF rather than another cut to its benefits.
I hope they don't since they nerfed it twice in a short period.

I think the biggest nerfing is behind us.
Hard to tell! But the real nerfing with this card can be outside the control of chase, and that is the award chart of the travel partners. There has been some serious devaluations there, and they may well continue. And with the recent Korean Air scare, partners can also come and go.
