I had 3 cards with BOA years ago and 2 of them I closed and one of them they closed. Althought they are now paid off. We are talking lates in the 2005-2006 timeframe.

I still don't want to apply for a BOA card for fear that I might have been blacklisted. FIA is very unforgiving unless someone tells me that they have had luck with them after a collection.

Call executive services and ask. The cards are probably purged from their system by now and cannot be verified.

I just paid off all the 3 cards this year so I'm thinking that this would still be in their system?

Different story. If there was 0 activity since 2006 the accounts would have likely fallen out of their system.
