I have the household bank platinum that I received in January still at $300. I see all the success with the Cap 1 CLIs lately by emailing/calling the executive. Has anyone used this to increase their HSBC cards that were aquired by Cap One?

I recently did a online CLI request (3 weeks or so) and received a small increase $500 to $700 on my Household Bank card.

See I have never been able to request online. It seems to be blocked for function. Maybe I have a different version? I have called at various times over this exact issue and they wanted to hard pull me and I declined. Seeing all the success others are having with the Cap one I just was hoping Cap one exec could help me. I am unsure whether Cap one has the full authority yet to issue cli on my card. I don't know what is going on..lol. I guess I sit back and wait.

I wouldnt call the exec office of cap1 for a card so young. The people calling exec for a cli are those who have had the card years, stuck at the same limit. Afail hsbc/HH,Cap1 and all of them don't HP for CLIs. Many front line CSRs simply dont know the difference.
When I spoke to them they seemed to know the difference. I also was transferred to a manager and they confirmed it would be a hardpull. Maybe they ALL do not know what they are talking about but I am not taking the chance. I received 3 hardpulls on my TU back to back during my first few weeks of the card..all over the hard vs soft inquiry issue. It has been a dishonest relationship from the start. I have not called the executive team on it. Hopefully once the transition is fully complete, Cap One will review all of its accounts and start to be fairer in regard to CLs. It is my only MasterCard so I will give it until January and take my business elsewhere if need be.
