Feel absolutely no loyalty to a company that is willing to charge you $7 a month even if you don't use it, even if they gave you your first chance.
Axe it.

stop, do not pass go, call them imediately close the account, its a negative to have them on your CR for some prime lenders. then the card feeds the shredder. They may of even been holding you back, you may want to think about getting a GE backed store card, walmart (free Fico score, etc) or amazon for there frequent CLI's you seem to be stuck at with low limit cards, and low limit cards breed low limit cards, 4-8 months with a GE store card and you should have a card higher than any you have now and no AF.
Close it, don't waste time! GJ on building good credit!
Yes, close it ASAP. I just closed mine last week with its meager $250 limit and $0 balance that I'd had for a while. The lady tried to get me to keep it when I called and even offered me a $45 credit to my account. With the $59 AF coming up in June and $7/month fee...that wasn't going to cut it. Glad to let them go.
Did you axe it yet OP???
Please dont let them get you for more fees!!! I hated giving it to them for a year myself!!
Closed it today. !!!! Yayyyyyyyy!!!!
Also I got an offer from Credit One Bank for $400 credit line should I take it?

Lol. Hell no. You don't need to feed subprime anymore. If WF is secured, I'd deposit as much as I could on that; hoping that Amex will match it on a revolver in the future. Grats!!
I agree with this, stay away from subprime!!
