It seems like it could be a platinum - the AF billed at $395 (which I think it used to be).

I like the $400+ for bagels and $18 for Netflx.

Not sure if I posted this earlier on the thread (I didn't re-read it, I'm afraid), but I've used an AmEx at WalMart and lived to tell the tale.

I'm not discounting the reports of those who've had their cards canceled for doing so; just saying that it wasn't a problem for me.

I hardly ever go to WalMart, so I used it there maybe two or three times.

Why would you be embarrassed using a CC for food if you get rewards for doing so? I'm not embarrassed picking up dimes and nickels off the ground either.
