I have a pretty crappy BoA MLB (major league baseball) CC that I got at the World series in 2005 (I wanted the free blanket!!). I do not want to cancel the card, as it's almost 10 years old, no AF and its my high limit (10k). It has rewards, but not very good ones.
How does one go about a PC? Can I do this to any BoA card (want a no AF w/rewards or CB)? I would really like to avoid a HP as I'm gardening after a mini AOR.
Call the number on the back of your card. I think I PCd my first BofA card 4 x in the past 20 years...never an issue with BofA...whenever they came up with better rewards for my needs I asked to PC...Good luck
You can even PC in Chat. I did it 3 times in one year

Awesome. So I can just pick whichever reward card I want and PC it like that? Seems too easy! I like that
What's the best No AF card right now, since you two seem to be on top of the ball with this subject
Also, what happens to the 9500 pts I have sitting in there? do they just get transfered over 1:1??
Travel rewards, Cash rewards, Better balance rewards...and many more....it all depends on personal preference...for me the no FTF cards with rewards are the winners as my charges are 60% outside the US
regarding the points make sure the CSR checks on that. I do not remember which way it worked....cash back to points or points to cash back..but one way it would void the rewards so I waited to redeem and then PCd...sorry I did too many changes to remember which way worked out and which way needed redemption first.
I just sent a Chat to BoA and was told that "Upon card conversion the points may or may not be converted. So I would recommend you to redeem them before it's converted."
I have points (not CB) and was inquiring for both Travel Rewards or Cash Rewards Card PC. Kinda sucks, I have no use for the points now, and dont want to stay on the card I have.
EDIT: After being transferred to a CC Specialist via Chat, I was able to convert my Points to the Cash 123 Rewards card. I would not have been able to transfer points to the Travel Rewards card. Seems strange, but oh well!
