Is it possible to get a credit card with the same company you got a charge off from ?

I will be done paying off the charge off through the collection company as of tomorrow and I was wondering if it was possible if I could get another credit one credit card to help rebuild since all my baddies, but 1 will be paid off (a $61 collection)..

I have a credit one card i dont use it wish i would not have gotten it . It cost to much just to have get a secured one some where else.

going the secured route is ALWAYS better than going to CreditOne or FirstPremier.

I have a Usaa secured .. I had it for about 2 months now.. I was just trying to find a way to get an unsecured card.

Try capital one I got a platinum card through them only a 300 cl . And I had a previous charge off with them but it was paid in full when i applied. You can see if you can get preapproved on their website.

I was pre-approved but still denied in January .. Smh

Looking at your scores you must have some recent baddies. Have you attempted any PFD's on this?

My most recent baddie was a 30 day late in August and a medical collection for 70 I paid in December.. Other than that 3 charge offs from 2009-2010 as of tomorrow all 3 will be paid off.. And no pfd, No one was willing to budge..even the medical collection agency told me they couldn't do it because it was too late and I had previously set up an arrangement and didnt follow through .. My fault I suppose.

Wow that sucks, the 30 day and recent collection is what is killing your score. I'd try to GW that 30 day.

I doubt they will.. I tried to GW them when I totaled my car and my gap insurance didnt kick in for another 2 in a half months after.. And they stI'll have me a 30 day late.
