Is there a better offer on the Amex Platinum other than the 60k after 5k spend?

Matter of personal taste. I wouldn't get the Platinum if there was a 200k offer going around, but obviously many others have jumped on it. If it has benefits you want that aren't on the CSR and you think those benefits are worth the AF, then get it.

Go for the 75K or 100K offer only. Anything less isn't a good deal.
