Nothing on card match is a preapproval.  They are marketing offers.  Check American Express' preapproval link.

I would be weary of card match offers.  Go to the AMEX site and see if the offer is there as well.  If you have an offer on the table from AMEX you should be able to access it through their site I would think.

I'll add that if you plan to apply for the  card use the link on Card Match because the 15K offer is better than the standard offer

My preapproval on Cardmatch 20 months ago was for AMEX PRG and Delta Gold.

Was instantly approved for both when I app'ed.

To be fair, though, I had been receiving offers for PRG in the mail for months prior.

I've only used card match once, for my PRG and BCP.  Offers were higher then what Amex was showing.  Instant approval for both.  So in my one time using it, it was accurate.

Unless I'm missing something, this seems to be some kind of pre-qualification, because it mentions a specific APR, which in your case is their lowest offered rate.
