Flyertalk has a thread on it. Many say they only get the 'this card is heavy' reaction. Very few actually realize what's in their hand.

I've only seen them twice. I used to work at the Front Desk at a large hotel chain and the card was so thick it wouldn't fit through the reader. Had to enter it manually. One of my fiance's friends had one before he passed away.

You probably have to be at a high end place for the type of people to notice

Mcdonnalds just killed my new sapphire today. Deep scratches in the metal. Maybe with TI I can get revenge on all the card readers by scratching them back for once lol.

I read you actually get 3 - the metal one, a black plastic one, and also a gold/platinum one tied to you Centurion account to use in situations where you want to be inconspicuous about it.
