I put in an application with them for reed's jewelers almost two weeks ago and they said they would let me know. I called a few days later and the csr could tell me nothing. Since then I was preapproved for victoria secret which I accepted. Then I was preapproved for buckle and brylane homes....each for 600.00. I declined both of those. So I called reeds again today and they have no account or information for me. Why would this be? If they are approving me for other cards, whats the hold up on the one I want?

I think you should take it as a blessing and reapply in 6 months if still interested. In my opinion you are adding way too many new accounts. You already have a handful of low limit cards already opened over the last few weeks. You do not need any more new accounts reporting!!! GE is great at CLIs but if you continue to add stuff, they might not give you good automatic increases and you will be stuck in low limit ville
