It pays to ask at Amex!

I just received my PRG card and looked at it and it backdated me to 2004! I asked when I applied, and the csr said she could not do it for an AU of an ACCOUNT THAT WAS CLOSED...I didn't push it, but I was very pleased when I opened the packet! No experian CS though...

Re: It pays to ask at Amex!

You wont get an EX score with a charge card product as you are getting the best terms, all cardmembers have the same terms.  You would only get a score with a credit product such as The Blue Cash etc..

Duh! I got it! BTW, it gave me an option to make payments on qualifying purchases. After reading all the benefits, this is a neat card! I guess I will get my score with the Amex blue.
