It's Official...I Closed my 9 Y.O. Cap 1 Card Today.

I guess the closure of my account finally would put an end to all those advance checks I receive from Cap 1.  I have stack of them that needs to be shredded.

Cap1 is losing some good customer. Nobody need a card that does not grow with you, charge an anual fee, high APR and low limit.

It was $750.  I'm now sitting at $44,000 in available credit among 9 accounts.
