Thursday-Thursday has been a great week. Starting last thursday I closed on my new home, and was feeling confident, yet skeptical. I decided to pull the trigger on a little app spree. Walmart approved for $1000, Discover It card approved (not sure what the limit is yet)! I got a 'needs further review' for the Chase Freedom card, my question is, should I call Chase or ride out the 7-10 days? Either way, it has been a great week, and I am sure I wouldn't have been able to do it without the fine help of all of you! So, Thank you!
Definitely call the recon number for chase. You can call discover to learn your limit too if you want. might even consider recon'in the limits on both chase and discover just to see if you can.

Called the recon number for chase...Approved! $1000 starting limit. Seems like I can finally do away with some of my lower tier cards (CreditOne and Orchard). I was waiting until I could get a couple decent cards, seeing as how I've been stuck at a $300 limit on orchard for 3 years now. So, here is my list for the week:
Closed on my mortgage
1k Walmart (free fico!)
1k Discover It
1k Chase Freedom
Thanks all!
Those are three really nice cards, use them for 6 months to a year and you will be able to get an AMEX and a CSP if that's what you are wanting!
Congratulations on the successful spree but most of all congrats on getting your new home!
Congratulations!
Congrats on the house and the new cards!
