I support his abstinence but have pretty much given up on telling people not to app, LOL!
I sadly agree. I certainly can't tell people what (or not ) to do, but I CAN remind the of the consequences. i post most of what I see to the impetuousness of youth. God only knows that i never wanted to believe that what my parents said was TRUE, much less admit it. - especially about credit.

I had a pretty bad itch for the new USAA card, LOL! I've wanted an account with them for years. Sad to say, I even called to make sure their policy had changed about accounts in New York.
Didn't app. Utilization is over 40% and I didn't want to waste an inquiry. Waiting to see what Chase does when my Freedom hits 1 year old in two weeks. If they upgrade to signature, all is forgiven. If not, I'll close/replace them in Jan when util is much lower.

Can I get a celebratory PRG app in???!?!?!???!?
Haha, think this needs another one of Tinu's rulings on the GC challenge: since it *could* lead to a new tradeline, out of the garden you go!
Anyway unless you need the MR points right now, Zync is a better card anyway. No point for the additional AF in that case.
Happy Birthday, LS!
And, um... NO!!!
CELEBRATORY APP - MARCH 2013!!!

@del Thanks! The fam went to medieval times last night, pretty awesome!
Good for you! My DH and I went there last month for our anniversary. Hope you had lots of fun!
BTW, I have something special for you over in the GC thread...
