So, I am having the desire to apply for the Chase Palladium card. I own my business, I pay myself 175k a year, all of my fico scores are over 760, It's been 7 months since I've applied for a new card, and my utilization is at 17% because I forgot to pay my card before the statement closed. I really don't need the credit, but I WANT the card. Does anyone here have the card in their wallet?
I know Tanner wants it too.
It used to have a massive requirement that included a private banker and millions... around 30.
Now it's a little more lax... I think it's thousands per year or something to that effect.

Pretty sure he has one already.
That's his Centurion and Platinum combination, not the Palladium. Whole different beast. The Palladium is from JP Morgan Chase.

I thought about it for a while too. My strong suspicion though was that after the cool factor of having the metal card wore off, I would be disappointed with the benefits. Have you looked at Flyertalk or Milepoint to see what they are saying about it. I reviewed the threads on Flyertalk a while back, but haven't checked recently to see if anything new has been posted about it. At the time, it looked like it was a poor contender compared to Amex Platinum.

My mistake...
It's still not as "good" as the Platinum/Centurion, but the annual fee is better than the Centurion, not that that's much of a consolation. If you have the Palladium, the annual fee is the least of your worries.

No worries, I only know because I made the same mistake some time ago between the Platanium combo and the Palladium.

I do want it. The app is on my desk. The UR points are worth more than sapphire according to the rep. Ive been following this thread: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/credit-card-programs/1089511-jp-morgan-palladium-card-15.html
My head still thinks is stupid to blow 600 on a card with fewer benefits than plat but my heart still wants it.

I feel you Tanner! I'm having that same desire for the card. Hell, if AMEX would send me an app for the Centurion, I would be happier. Since Jan, I've nearly met their so-called minimum spend on my Plat card. I WANT MY CENTURION APPLICATION! *App Tantrum*
