And I thought increases is against their religion!  I guess people can change.  Happy Monday!

Congrats! JCP does give CLI's - you might want to call in next time for a larger increase.

Re: JC Penney... could it be?

Congrats!  I've heard that GE is good with CLI.  JCP was my first store card since before my BK in '05 (I just opened it in November based off getting a pre-approved offer).  They started me at $250.  I hit the LUV button in June and was very happy when I went up to $750.

If you need to use that card more, I've heard earlier today that Rite Aid and CVS accept the JCP card as payment.  So I went to Rite Aid and bought soap with the JCP Card. Sure enough, it worked!

I think you can also use it online at Sephora.com.  Anyway, the drug stores seem to be a cheap way to keep it active.

I had no idea!  Great news as I rarely go in to Penneys.  I just added my son to my card hoping he could use it every now & then.  How about Walgreens?

No Walgreens. From what I understand, JCP used to own Eckerd back in the day. They sold them to CVS and Rite Aid in the early 2000s.
