I opened my account mid-Feb and was given $500 CL.

2nd statement will cut 4/31

Is that too early to request a CLI?

There is a "request increase" button on my account summary name, next to my available balance, that is calling my name.....but if it's too early I can wait.

The button won't work this soon, if you really want it you have to call the backdoor number to the underwriter. Not many people talk about success with the underwriter and JcPenny it may work, It wouldn't be my first choice of cards to worry about a high limit on.

They usually like to see some history before granting CLI's. the consensus is after the 3-4 statement.

Off-topic, but I miss my JCP card (BK'd), the only place I ever used it was Sephora. Probably good I no longer have it, spent way more than I should at Sephora.

That was the only GE card I had not much success with

Eventually I did after 10 months but who knows maybe they will give you something earlier than that Good luck

It is too early.
Advice:
Use the card EVERY month for four months, even if for a few dollars. PIF..
Ask for cli day after 4th statement.
Or make a large purchase and pay the min for four months, then ask. Makes no diff. Just don't expect a cli based on time; it's based on payment history/pattern.

Only the Sephora's in the JCP stores. Free standing stores will not accept it.
