JCP CLI Question

Doing some recon work for the DW's JCP account.

Do they do hard pulls or soft pulls?

Re: JCP CLI Question

Soft pulls. Quick question - are you trying to recon a CLI request decision?

not possible to recon declined....

if it's CLI, they can transfer you over to manual review and they pull a fresh TU with SP and review.... ask high, they can counter! although if it's been declined already maybe not.

Re: JCP CLI Question

It's a recon of a CLI decision that was actually positive. It's her oldest account, but she had left it in the SD (thank heaven). Unfortunately, it was down to like $150. The CLI only put her up to $300. She's going to be making the call today to talk to a supervisor and explain that she'd love to start using the card again for the rewards, but can't really justify using it with a $300 when she more than likely has that in cash at any point in time.

You don't talk to supervisor, ask to be transfered to underwriting for a manual review on the credit line increase. it's a soft pull but they will go through income and disclosure etc.
