If you do a google search on Monogram you won't smile.
lol I have the same inquiry on my reports when i originally applied.
mjbfan,
oh, good - you have the JCPenney/Monogram inquiry on your reports? But the card shows up as GEMB/JCPenney's? And your card is a store card, not the MC?

If you don't mind me asking what is the APR on your card?

Then maybe GEMB/Monogram is a different tiered card. Your APR is lower than mine (21.9%).
My brochure (haven't received card yet) states the APR is a whopping 22.85%.
Definitely a PIF builder card for me. Yikes! Of course, all my cards are PIF, so, yeah.
I did get some birthday shopping done with the sales and my discount, so we'll see where this one goes. It is my highest limit (I'm just starting out - so don't go and make me feel bad!) at $1,200.
Does anyone have the JCPenney MC? Or is it discontinued??
Congrats again! $1,200 is good. I don't think a lot of people see that much approved on an initial app!
The JCP MasterCard still exists. There is a live link for it here:
I don't have a clue as to how you go about getting one.
