JFCU Approved!- but membership STILL not set up!

Hi Everyone,

I overnighted my membership documents last Thursday. Also applied for a LOC. Called yesterday to see what was taking so long. The CSR told me I have been approved for the LOC but the account still has not been set up. Its been a week now, I didnt think it would take this long to set up a membership. (At least not from what I have heard on this forum). I guess im gettin a little impatient, but I am anxious to know what they gave me as far as the CL.  How long has everyone else waited?

congrats on JFCU..i was approved for 5K Cl 1-15-08...did not report until last month...only to EX

was approved for 10K, but then CSR said i would have to wait 6 months for anything over 5K

How long did it take before you knew what the CL was? How long did it take for them to set up your membership?

i think it was about 5 days after account was set up...

It took me some time to get set up, return documents, and to actually get my card. I was approved for 10K, but others have said that you have to wait 6 months before anything over 5K.

The interest rate and service is awesome.

Thanks for the reply mymy and phumanr! Ill just wait patiently. Phumanr, did they chop yours to $5000 too, or were you one of the lucky ones?
