Re: JP Morgan Select does NOT report to CRA's

I just used the message system, asked if there was anyway to expedite. Apped late Monday afternoon card was here early this morning. Nice looking card with a few added benefits. However, I wish the account # and member since date were on the back. It really detracts from the card with the raised numbers and letters. Also, when I first pulled it out I thought they had changed it to a metal card. It defn has the same brushed metal look as the csp. Not so much though.

Just got my card via UPS, thanks for the info. I also like the card but my only wish would be to match the CSP's 2x points for dining.

Not that its super important, but how did it look? Did it come with a benefits book?

Re: JP Morgan Select does NOT report to CRA's

It's just a replacement card, not the initial card. They said that card was mailed along with the welcome kit and the overnighted card is just another card. It came in a small envelope inside the UPS letter pak. I probably won't get the welcome kit and initial card until late next week. The card is plastic but has a nice smooth feel to it, it feels and bends a little differently than most cards.

It seems to be thicker than most of my other cards and doesn't get a permanent "bend" from being in my wallet.  It's also not really the "UPS" brown like its pictures, but more of a metallic, bronze brown.

Back to the original topic. I'll post after each statement date (since there doesn't seem to be anyone with a card older than six months) to let everyone know if the TL ever reports.  From comments I've read elsewhere, I don't think that it will.

Yeah, the card is more like a copper/bronze color with a nice shimmer. Looks nothing like that flat brown on Chase's website.

Re: JP Morgan Select does NOT report to CRA's

I guess my one question is how to view this card? elite lite perhaps? I now know that it will serve two purposes. overseas travel, and, if i ever need to revolve a large balance. The requirments needed to obtain are tough but by no means ridiculous. I like to stack my cards in my wallet in order of status, zync is barely hanging on. I guess I am just not sure what to think of this card once i obtained it. where it fits in my wallet so to speak. thoughts?

Re: JP Morgan Select does NOT report to CRA's

I see no prestige or elite value from this card. The ONLY motivating factor is the hidden trade value. Might not even go in my wallet!

Yeah, intox apps, I do not recommend!
