But moving your limit from a card on your reports to a card not on your reports could increase your overall utilization if you are showing balances.

FR has a good point.... And though I haven't asked I've heard that the JPM division is great with CLI's.

Yes your right but my problems is that i have 20 credits cards, and try to cut down to 10-12. I'm going to axe some soon.

Personally, I'd PC from the Slate to the Freedom and just leave your CL alone for the Freedom. I've yet to hear of a JP Morgan Select that was anything less than $5,000.

Yeah maybe I will just pc slate to freedom and apply for a select in Jan...

Freedom and JPM are a good pair... Also JPM cannot be issued lower than 5k, it's a visa sig... ymmv but my limit is considerably higher.

Anyone when u can pc from slate to freedom ?? I got slate in nov 2011, and want to change it to a freedom. Exec office said have to wait til 1 year mark ???

When this card was first released, like Chass Palladium, it was only available to private banking customer.  However, it has since owned opened up for everyone, provided that you meet Visa Sig approval criteria...
