Good morning everyone! Still recovering from Christmas waiting for more 0's to report!
Still gardening after 24 months. Feels good. Thinking of closing some low CL cards.

You should be rocking the diamond!
Back to the seedling today. Bit the bullet and app'd for the Chase Sapphire Preferred card last night, figured I would do it before the mortgage started reporting and score takes a minor ding. Boom! Instant approval, $5K limit, and the card will be great for all the travel we have planned this year.

CSP isn't an bad card for travel emv and no ftf is nice.
That's the chief reason that I wanted it. I have a Navy Fed cash rewards card which is what I usually use but it does charge FTFs. You can squeeze out a bit more for the rewards if you book through Chase's travel site. We have a cruise booked in May to Barcelona, a trip to the Dominican Republic, a trip to Montreal, and trying to squeeze one more in towards the end of the year since our vacation/sick day accrual has changed to a general PTO. While most of my coworkers usually expend their sick days, I don't so now I can have more vacation time

And I would be happy if I could manage half of that.
24 months? Wow, that's amazing. I sometimes wonder how I will even get through a year of gardening, but hey, January is rolling right on by
