Just like my Walmart thread, trying to gather some data on recent approvals including your scores and number/types of negatives on your reports.

Yeah, but those are somewhat dated for certain cards. I know which one you're talking about

Pretty much as long as your scores are 600 and above (lower scores have been approved) and no recent baddies you should be good to get it.

I do. Some good deals.  I got JCpenny 1800 CL no baddies no lates 7 month credit history one card FICO TU 700's Sorry about text dont know what I hit.

Like all GE cards if you are 620'ish with a decent report you will get approved.

I was thinking the same thing and then found out you can also use the JCPenney card at CVS and they are opening a new store near me that is in a shopping center instead of a mall so maybe they are getting back to what they once were??
