The promotion is to spend $500 in each upcoming month May, June, and July to get 5000 miles.   I like B737's offer better and he has a much better card!   I think we got the short end of the stick in this transfer from Amex and even lost a backdated cardSmiley Sad

That's not what it says. It says:

"Spend $1,500 in new purchases each month in May, June and July 2016."

ARE YOU SERIOUS??

¹ Offer is valid for select cardmembers and is not transferable. You will earn 5,000 bonus points after you charge $500 in net retail purchases (purchases that are not returned or rescinded) each calendar month from May 1, 2016 through July 31, 2016. If you do not spend $500 in any of the 3 months of the promotion you will not be eligible for any bonus points as part of this offer.

Re: JetBlue rewards card offer

I assume that these Bonus points are IN ADDITION to the points that would be earned from the purchases anyway. Correct?

Wow, that's pretty crazy that we're all offered different promos, considering we came from Amex.  They should be standard across the board!!Smiley Mad

Amazing, they're treating different people so differently. I have to spend 1500 a month; you only have to spend 250 a month.

Boy that doesn't sit well with me.

It also makes me very curious... what are their criteria for these extreme differences?

Re: JetBlue rewards card offer

I sent Barclays a message asking why I'm required to spend $1500 a month, while others are only required to spend $250 or $500.

I'm wondering if this is based off the limits on the cards... My limit on my card is only $1900, so that must have something to do with that. They figure if I put $1500 on my card it would max it out, vs someone with a higher limit wouldn't...just my two cents.

@I don't think that's it as my limit is only 2k -- the same as it was with Amex.  I didn't care about the 2k limit with Amex since the card was backdatedSmiley Very Happy  Still have the Hilton Amex @ 2k and the BCE @ 6k.
