I joined penfed I received my acc # and i only deposit 5 in a share acc do I need to do more. Trying to pay down my cap 1 card with lower apr.

What I am doing is transferring money on a weekly basis from my BofA account into my new PenFed account to establish a relationship with them.  Down the road, I want to apply for their CC.

Op,what does score/credit profile look like.

~ have little to no inquiries on your credit report.

 

They are NOT high inquiry & recently opened trade-lines friendly.

Current Score: EQ: ? ~ TU: 729 (Wal-Mart) ~ EX FACO: 725
Current Goal:750 across the board
Ultimate Goal: 800+
Chillin' (for real this time) in the garden for a while now until AT LEAST 12/2013. *sigh* Wish me luck!
