Just joined NFCU about a week ago! Can't wait to build a great relationship with them.   Going to try for a CC in about 6 months after I get some direct deposits going.

If you have good scores, you shouldn't have to wait to get some credit with them. I applied a week after I opened my account and was instantly approved.

Welcome to the NFCU family! Super bunch and very easy to work with CC wise.   +1 on not having to wait, with your scores (providing all things are well) you can apply now and be okay.

if you're waiting just to build a relationship then don't wait and app....i app'd with low-mediocre scores and was approved the day i joined before i even setup a checking account.

I never would of hear about NFCU if it wasn't for here also! already opened a checking account and setup my direct deposit though work !
