Joining Affinity Federal CU?

This is a CU I've come across being mentioned highly and was hoping it was open to almost everyone, but when I try to through their affiliated organization I get this response: Please deposit an additional $25 into your Affinity Savings Account to fund your New Jersey Coalition for Financial Education membership. We will then transfer $25 to the New Jersey Coalition for Financial Education.
(Please Note: Affinity membership through the New Jersey Coalition for Financial Education is only available to residents of New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania.)

 

Is there any other way to join?
