Joint Credit Card - Which Credit Score matters?

If two people apply for a Joint Credit Card, with vastly different credit scores, which one would the company look at?  Would they be more likely to give you the credit card because one of the people has a high score, or less likely because one person has a low score?

Just depends. I know w/ CU's they go by the lowest, however on mortgages depending on who you deal w/ they try to go w/ the highest to help out the int. rate.

You never know. You will have to just call each creditor and ask. Also- most of them if they look up all three Ficos go w/ the middle score.

Thanks for the information.  I routinely get new CC offers in the mail, so I'll call the individual company's to ask what their policy is.
