I'm coming up on 4 years since my CH7 BK was discharged. I've certainly come a long way since BK and my credit has definitely improved a lot. My scores have gone down a bit recently, but right now my scores are: EQ = 673 and Walmart TU = 664. I have gotten some really great advice and information on this website, the best of which was about joining Navy Federal CU.
This ended up being a very good month for me, and I think that I'm going to stay in the garden for a long, long time now. In fact, I've frozen all 3 of my CR's to help keep myself from applying for any more cards. But in July I got:
- CLI on Walmart from $1,000 to $1,600 (SP)
- CLI on PayPal SmartConnect from $1,000 to $2,025 (SP)
- CLI on my Barclays iTunes Visa from $3,450 to $5,410 (HP on TU)
- CLI on my NFCU Visa Platinum from $1,000 to $5,000 (instant online - appears to have just been a SP)
- CLI on my NFCU NavChek from $5,000 to $10,000 (HP on EQ)
- Approved for $2,000 CL, 13.15% APR (my 2nd lowest APR) 1% cash back card when I joined my local CU (HP on EX)
