Re: Juniper/Barclays Relationship Charge?????????

Don't get too worried about your missing Transrisk score-

Mine is under Benefits-

My Factors get funnier every month-
Does not even bring up my lates anymore-

Your Trans Risk Score is : 656 as of Jun 11,2008 , Source TransUnion
To improve your score the following areas should be addressed:
1. Too many accounts with a balance (Reason 50)  maybe- but they are all PIF or 0% (except morgage)
2. Too many personal finance accounts (Reason 58) i have 1 over 7 years old
3. Too few retail accounts (Reason 42) I have 2 about to be 3
4. Length of time oldest bank revolving account has been established is too short (Reason 17) yep only 7+  years old

Re: Juniper/Barclays Relationship Charge?????????

Here's mine:

Your Trans Risk Score is : 768 as of Jun 16,2008 , Source TransUnion

To improve your score the following areas should be addressed:
1. Too many bankcard accounts (Reason 52)
2. Length of time accounts have been established is too short (Reason 35)
3. Length of time premium bankcard account has been established is too short (Reason 19)
4. Revolving account balances are too high in proportion to credit limits (Reason 31)

1)  I have 12.  Yeah, maybe that's too many.

2) Yep.  Fair enough.

3) OK.  I'm not sure which of my cards is the so-called "premium bankcard account," but I'll buy that.

4) Nope.  Not buying that one.  Revolving utilization on TU is 1%.

Re: Juniper/Barclays Relationship Charge?????????

OK, you got me curious. The TC scores are TransRisk scores, and they don't give you the reason number, but they do list which CRA is supposedly complaining. Here are my TU TransRisk complaints:

* Your oldest bank revolving account has not been open long enough.
-- this tells me that they ignore the AU Discover card, which is 19 years old. And they've always done this, BTW, so it's not the dreaded FICO 08 thing.

* There are too many late payments on your credit report.
-- true dat.

* Your installment account balances are too high in comparison with your credit limits.
-- like cheddar said, huh? Even with a BT card, it's currently 8%. I think that they're counting the HELOC.

Their lovely version of my TU score is 673, as opposed to FICO's 728.
* Credit is a wonderful servant, but a terrible master. * Who's the boss --you or your credit?
FICO's: EQ 781 - TU 793 - EX 779 (from PSECU) - Done credit hunting; having fun with credit gardening. - EQ 590 on 5/14/2007

Re: Juniper/Barclays Relationship Charge?????????

Alright, I'll play along.  TU Fico is 680, TU Fako is 679 via TC.

There are too many late payments on your credit report.
-Somewhere around 17.  Thirteen of those are from Nov 01.

There has been too much collection debt on your credit report.
-Yup, one is probably too many. (From 04)

There are not enough premium bankcard accounts on your credit report.
-BofA Visa, BofA Amex, Amex DG, Disc More,Target Visa, Juni/Trav MC, HSBC/DMB Disc, HSBC/UPC MC, and Cap1 MC -- How many more do they think I should have?

From 700 in 2008 to 498 in 2012...
4/23/12 -- BK 13 date of filing EQ = 505
4/18/12 -- EQ 498
12/5/13 -- EQ 669
Here we go.... back on track.
